Welcome to Uppal Cabs. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and bookings, including cab rentals, tour packages, and travel-related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to Uppal Cabs.
  • “User” / “Customer” refers to any individual or entity booking or using our services.
  • “Services” include cab bookings, tour packages, and travel-related offerings.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

  • A minimum of 30% advance payment is required to confirm any booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid prior to or at the commencement of the service.
  • Payments may be made via UPI, NEFT/RTGS, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
  • A booking shall be deemed confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment.

4. Pricing and Taxes

  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Rates may vary due to fuel price fluctuations, seasonal demand, or regulatory changes.
  • Applicable GST and government taxes will be charged as per prevailing laws.

5. Service Conditions

  • The Company reserves the right to provide a similar or alternative vehicle in case of non-availability.
  • Air conditioning may not function in hilly terrains or when the vehicle is stationary.
  • Standard driver duty hours are up to 12 hours per day. Additional usage may incur extra charges.
  • Pick-up and drop-off locations must be pre-agreed at the time of booking.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must carry valid government-issued photo identification during travel.
  • Customers are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
  • Any special requirements, including medical conditions, must be disclosed at the time of booking.

7. Delays and Interruptions

The Company shall not be held responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic congestion, adverse weather conditions, roadblocks, vehicle breakdowns, or governmental restrictions.

8. Force Majeure

Uppal Cabs shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, acts of government, or other unforeseen circumstances.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • 45 days or more prior to travel: 90% refund
  • 30 to 45 days prior to travel: 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days: No refund

Additional Conditions:

  • No refunds will be issued in cases of no-show or cancellations due to unavoidable circumstances such as roadblocks, weather disruptions, or emergencies.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

10. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited via bank transfer (NEFT/UPI) only.
  • No cash refunds shall be provided.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uppal Cabs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of our services.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Uppal Cabs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

13. Modification of Terms

Uppal Cabs reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
